If you’ve been here for a while now, you may or may not know that I am from Michigan. So when something happens here, and it’s so close to home, I can’t help but write about it. That goes for anything, crime-related or not. I am proud to be a Michigander, no matter where I am in the world.
But today’s story is so close to the city I grew up in. It’s in a small town called Monroe, in Frenchtown Township. It’s about 45 minutes south of Detroit and 30 minutes north of Toledo. Today’s story is about six kids who tricked a girl into hanging out with one of them so that they could kill her.
No real reason, just decided they wanted to kill her. All six of them unanimously. No one tried to talk them out of it, they all just said, we don’t like her, let’s kill her. I don’t know about you, but it’s crazy to me, that kids even think like this nowadays. If it’s not a clear sign that we are headed in the wrong direction, I don’t know what is.
