The year was 1996. It happened in a small town just outside of Indianapolis, in a place called Westfield, Indiana. Here is where police discovered the remains of several individuals located on a farm called Fox Hollow Farms. It was an 18-acre farm just off 156th Street and the Monon Trail in Westfield, Indiana. The farm was owned and operated by Herb and his wife Julie Baumeister.
Police believed that they may have been the bodies of several young men who went missing over the last couple of years. From 1993 to 1994 several young men had suddenly vanished without a trace. And though the area of metro Indianapolis was home to dozens of gay bars and several gay newspapers, it was swirling with fear as if a serial killer lived among them.
